America's Suiteheart

My first outfit post since I've returned to blogging. Teehee! ;) If you're wondering about the title of this look, it's a song from a band called Fall Out Boy.

Here's a little something which I wore for Valentine's Day. I've been meaning to wear this corset top for a while since I don't have any high waist skirt and I don't want my tummy to be showing. :p I didn't want to wear any accessories because there's already print on my top and skirt. Although it might be nice to have a short, simple necklace and maybe I should have fixed my hair up in a bun or something. :)

P.S. You can see the new color of my hair here clearly :)

Plain Jane.

This is what I wore on a school day a few months ago. I don't really dress up like this but I just tried it since it's something new. The denim pants is from Lee and the size is bigger than my normal size in pants. Since it wasn't used for a very long time, I wanted to try pairing it with some of the new clothes/accessories I got. I folded the pants to make it look like capri pants. The striped top was bought in Zara and was given to me as a gift. Paired it with black flats so I can walk comfortably and tied my hair in a bun and secured my bangs with hairpins to have the "good girl" effect. ;) Sorry for the blurred/pixilated photos, this was taken with only a cellphone.

This watch was given to me by my mom. I got it because I teased her about buying my siblings some "back-to-school" stuff and I said that even though I'm already in college, I wanted one too. Haha. It's one of Swatch's limited edition watches. I think it was called their "Valentine Collection". I really like the color of this watch and how I can pair it easily with my clothes even though it's read. I love the design and the details of the watch as well.

This burnt orange Uttara Sling Satchel was one of my best finds. I saw it on Tomato's online store but it wasn't available there anymore. So I went to the mall and looked at their branches and found a stall which still has this bag. It's really worth buying because of how much I was able to use this bag. It's stylish and I can put a lot of things without the bag feeling heavy. Plus it has a lot of pockets inside so I can organize my things easily.

(P.S. This photo was taken from Tomato's online store since I don't have a decent picture of the bag)

I See Stars In Daylight.

Just dug up some of the looks which I've posted on Chictopia and Instagram. I wore this when my family and I went out for lunch at a hotel. My aunt had these vouchers for a Dimsum buffet so some of my relatives and I went along. What's good about the skirt is that it's garterized so I was still able to eat a lot without feeling like I'm going to pop out of it when I felt full. ;) So I was able to eat a lot yet still feel chic in this girly outfit.

The light grey cardigan is from Tomato.  It's made out of cotton and it's really comfortable to use because of the soft material. This is the first cardigan which I've bought ever since I had a fondness in cardigans. I was able to use it with a lot of my looks because of its neutral color.

This fun star-printed skirt was an awesome find in a Trinoma's (mall) department store. It's a light cream colored skirt with navy blue stars printed all around it. Paired it with a simple white, round neck top from Penshoppe.

The owl necklace which I wore. I bought this in a store called Girl Shoppe. Not really sure if they have a website right now because a lot of sites keep popping up and I'm not sure if any of those are legit. I love this necklace because it  has a long chain and because of the cute owl pendant.

Black peep-top heels from Janylin. It has that ribbon-like-detail on the front. I like these shoes because the heel is not that high for me and it really looks amazing on my feet. It's simple yet classy, but can also be paired with casual clothes like jeans. I only used these shoes for the picture but I changed to flats right after so I wouldn't look too formal because we were only having lunch in a buffet restaurant. ;)

It's an old post but you can still vote for this look on Chictopia :)

Serena.

Hey there! Just wanted to share another look inspired by the TV series, Gossip Girl. I just thought of the color combination because of a look Serena Van der woodsen wore. I was never really used to mixing and matching different colors before. I only began to mix and match different colors because of inspirations I see online. You can see the inspiration of my look here.

This sheer yellow top was bought from Forever 21. It has a double layer so the top part isn't really see through so you don't have to wear an inner top for it, but the bottom part is sheer. This cute blue bag was one of my best finds online. I bought it from Tomato. It has a removable strap so you can use it as a handbag and you can put back the strap on so you can use it as a sling bag. Paired it with denim skinny pants for a casual look, yet still have that feminine touch.

This gorgeous stranded necklace was given to me by my aunt.

I borrowed this pretty bracelet from the same aunt who gave me the necklace. I love the colors and the different shapes on this necklace. Looks very sophisticated but it really goes well with my top.

Black peep toe heels to finish the look off.
