Here Comes NOT The Bride.

Last December, my family and I went to Tagatay to attend my cousin's wedding. Although the Philippines is a tropical country, it was really cold in Tagatay during that time so I took the opportunity to use my shawl as a scarf, Korean-style. ;)

Striped cardigan: Forever 21
Ivory shawl: Forever 21
White sneakers: Keds
Top: Bench
Pants: Penshoppe

There's this one spot in the garden where the lighting was amazing and some of the shots looked like it was morning that time even though it was night time. Here are some shots taken by my aunt although it was my uncle who gestured what to do and used another camera for wonderful shots. Each of us in the family had our pictures taken although I'm only posting mine for privacy reasons from my family. :)

I'll be sharing some photos of my family on the day of the wedding though because they're all right with it. :)

My cousin (the groom) and his family.

The bride and the groom. I really love the bride's gown. :)

This is my family from my mother's side.

Feeling like the bride while holding a bouquet. ;)

The bride and the groom again. Just love the lace details on the bride's gown :)

With my cousins and my niece.

Here's what I wore during the wedding. The theme was pastel and this was just something I found on short notice. A pastel pink dress from Cinderella (the top is lace) and the shoes are my favorite pair from Comfit. I don't really have a nice solo shot so here are ones I can only upload. :)

Last is a picture with the bride, who if you'll notice actually changed her gown during the reception. I love this picture because of how the shawl looked like as I used it as a "jacket". Remember I told you it was really cold there? Well, the shawl wasn't enough coz I was freezing cold that night.

Note to self: Next time wear a longer dress or something which can be matched with a blazer or anything you can cover up. :p

Twilight Blue

Was finally able to buy a dress I wanted from Jellybean. I really love their clothes, especially their dresses and accessories. They have a great collection of floral/printed items and that's what I love about their store. The price is affordable and the material is great. :) Good thing they still have this in stock and in my size. Just love the peter pan collar and the color of the dress. It has a floral print as well and I just adore floral prints on clothes right now. Paired it with a mustard colored belt which I bought from Jellybean as well. This is actually great for a summer look... or even a date? ;)

Tried it with the new shoes I just bought from Comfit and voila! Loving this dress with those heels. These chunky color block heels is one my favorite shoes right now. I love the feminine color and I think that you can actually use it in a casual and formal look. It's very comfortable to use because the cushion inside the shoes is soft. I don't really wear high heels because I'm not used to it so I tend to get off-balanced but because the heels are thick, I find it easy to walk in it.

Just added the bracelet, which I borrowed from my aunt, for a touch of accessory so that it won't be too plain. Adorable bracelet though, wish I can have it! :)

Vote for this look on Chictopia ;)

What I Got To Buy Today.

This afternoon I went to the mall hoping to buy accessories and clothes that I wanted. But instead of buying the things on my list, I was able to buy something else. It was unexpected, though it was a lot better than what I was supposed to buy.

I bought these imitation 3-strand pearl necklace at Forever 21. (http://www.forever21.com/) Was supposed to buy a single strand of pearl necklace only but when I saw these, I felt that these would look better on me and the clothes I wear. The pearls are connected through silver chains. Here's a more detailed picture of the design.

These adorable chunky color block heels are from Comfit (http://www.facebook.com/comfitshoe). They have lots of other colors as well, so you might want to check it out. They also have these in yellow and it's just lovely. The heels are about around 4" high but the heels are thick so it's not that hard to walk around in them. The top is a bit of a nude color and the bottom is more of a darker shade of pink.

What I really love about these is that I only paid for half the price because my boyfriend accompanied me today and when he saw how good the shoes looked on me, I teased him about buying it for me and when he said yes, I told him that I was kidding. But because he wanted to buy it for me, I just told him that we'd split the payment. Was just so happy that I was able to buy these because of him. :) He was actually the one who pushed me to buy it.

Here's a clearer picture which has more precise colors (I used flash on the camera so the colors darkened a bit in the pictures) which I took from their album.

Excited to try these heels out with an outfit I prepared for it. Simple, yet I just love how the colors look good together. Here's a little teaser for what I plan to wear these with, will post once I try it on. :)
